The results of the Scrap All Night!

Ok Ok! I'm up! Last night/This Morning was so much fun. I enjoyed every moment of scrapping all night! It was 14 people plus the two working girls. Lateefah and I went as a pair. Teefah worked very hard and jumped right into her scrapping assignment (Her Wedding album). She did very very good! I on the other hand was so very intrigued by the tools and techniques of the ladies that were in the room I had huge problems focusing. I couldn't believe the tools, ideas, and how they made everything look so easy. These women had it going on. I was in Awe... I was ScrapStruck. Downright Impressed!

I had so much fun. Everyone was friendly and shared very well. When ever someone needed some stickers, flowers, or advice everyone was very happy to share and provide a awe or ooh!. Knowing that you had a support team with you there made the night very much more enjoyable. Sometimes it's so hard deciding on something as simple as tearing a piece of paper or where to place an embellishment.

It was great to see all of the beautiful LO's being crafted. I learned so much from everyone. I also learned that I like Creative Memories items. I've seen these stencils before but, I didn't have any idea where to get them. I assumed that you could get them from a store somewhere but, That was not the case. Some women there sold Creative Memories products... We made many connections. It was so fun to see the networking going on. I will get some Creative Memories items before this year is up. (A Big SMILE)

The one thing I was totally amazed about was the fact that not many women used the die-cutter. Actually, the only two people that used the die-cutter (that night) was Teefah and I. I like the die-cutter. Now that I think of it no one had a sticker maker out either. I believe that most of the women bought stickers and used rub ons. Still I like the Die-Cutter. Again, I was totally impressed by there choice of using other forms of creative measures! It just made me realize that I was a true beginner but, ready for the growth!

The night (July 28th) started at 6pm and ended at 8:30am. Oh! What a night. From the beginning 14 women started however, only 5 survived until 8:30am. Someone had a wonderful idea for all of us to go outside and take a picture together as the sun began to rise. It was very fun. Everyone whipped out their cameras and the pictures began to formula. We had a great time... I believe the last people were named Angela (Me), Lateefah, Suzanne, Tracy, Beverly, and (the two workers that were very fun, helpful and kind enough to host) Claire and Meegan. One more thing... The radio station played 80's music all night long and everyone had a singing good time! The night could not have gotten any better! Oh yeah! We did get a goody bag full of nice things and we won prizes!. Boy! Did I have a good time!

This is the DAY!

I am so EXCITED! Today is the day that I get to go to my first SCRAP-All NIGHT! I'm so excited. I booked my spot early in July and have waited 3 1/2 weeks for this day to come. The Location is Scrapbook Mania in Canton Michigan. From the first day that I visited this store I've loved everything about it. The color of the place makes you want to come back and the atmosphere is so welcoming and organized. I just can't beat it. I love it there and I can't wait until 6pm to began the scraping and mingle. I can't wait. I have a few projects lined up and I have one special one for Shan (Lori's daughter) I'm going to do her graduation invitation and picture. I pray that I did it justice because she's beautiful. We should have a wonderful time. I talked Lateefah in going with me. I can't wait. I know she's going to have some relaxing fun also. I can't wait. I'm going to take some pictures! Until Later~

I am Ready

Another day closer to the Friday All night Scrap! I can't wait. I have been thinking about all the pages I was going to do while I was there all night. I want to do something fun and not any of the projects I've been working on such as my High School Memory Book... I have been looking online and in the Message Board so I can learn about doing the challenges that were about me! I think if I was around a group of people it would make it easier to complete a task such as that. So, I think I'm going to title the night "All About Me!" And to top it off it will be close to my birthday.

Scrap, Crackle & Pop

This is the New name of me and my friends. Teefah=Scrap, Angie=Crackle and Shia=Pop. We went to Craft 2000 (the only best place in Michigan to buy all of your tools and embellishment) on July 21 for a girls scrapping splurge day. The totals (close to totals) $60.00, $42.00 and $121.00. To make it even worst we stopped to JoAnn's on the way home and spent $30.00, $21.00 and $22.00. I really enjoyed being with my friends. We had so much fun... the shopping was just the icying on the cake. Oh! Yeah! Mary "O" went with us. She is so funny. She added some good laughs and silly fun. She is not a scrapbooker but, we are going to convince her. I can't wait until we go all together again. I LOVE SRAPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG

We all went to Craft 2000 and boy was it fun. Every time we go it's worth the 30 min trip. We did our girl talk going down there... you know the usaual boys, travel, food and scrapbooking. It was so fun. We were to meet up with Mary O. once we got there. This trip seemed very fun and exciting because two of them have never been to this place. We had virgins...! LOL Teefah and I knew what to expect... We combed the store slowly laughing along the way. Teefah had a list that she was trying to follow... Mary O didn't know what to expect. and Shia was in Scrapbooking Heaven. The biggest challenge was getting out of there with money to go to eat with. We began our purge before heading to the front of the store and it was very well worth it because all baskets were full. Everyone did good but, the most fun was just enjoying the moment with one another. Side note... Even though we didn't spend all of our money in Craft 2000 we did spend the rest at Joann Fabrics next door to the Chinese restaurant that we stopped to eat at. What a adventure.
